Cisco is a city in Eastland County, Texas, and is best known for constructing the largest concrete swimming pool in the world. In the 1920s, the Williamson Dam was built north of Cisco, resulting in the formation of Lake Cisco. The dam is named after long-time mayor James Mason Williamson. At the base of the dam is what's known as the largest swimming pool in the world. The complex then boasted a two-story building with a skating rink upstairs, a zoo, and an amusement park with rides.
