2019 Ram 1500 Power & Handling

The Ram 1500 offers two powertrain options for the 2019 model year. Up first is the standard 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar engine generating up to 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. This engine has been enhanced with the brand-new mild-hybrid eTorque technology. Utilizing a 48V battery and motor generator, the mild-hybrid system kicks out more torque if the situation calls for it and boosts fuel economy. The second engine, a 5.7-liter V8, creates up to 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. Two versions of this engine are available, one with the mild-hybrid eTorque system and one without. Both engines are outfitted with ESS to further boost fuel economy and reduce the truck’s impact on the environment. RWD and 4WD configurations are available for both engine options.

No mild-hybrid eTroque technology here to help save on fuel or the environment.
