Trim Levels of the 2020 Ram 1500

Brought to you by Star Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Abilene

Are you looking to own the most capable and well-loved pickup truck on the market today? You’ll want to be looking at the 2020 Ram 1500. This is a truck that has won many awards this year, and in previous iterations. These awards go to prove the kind of dedication that Ram is putting into their trucks every year. They are not just meant for power, they are meant for long road trips, and off-roading fun. You can get specific features based off of the trims that you are looking at. Down below we are going to go over each of the seven available trim levels to help you find out which one best suits all of your needs. You deserve the most capable truck around, and that’s the 2020 Ram 1500!

What are the trim level options?

Tradesman: The very first trim we’re checking out is the base model. This option, known as Tradesman, comes standard with a five-inch touchscreen, 18-inch wheels, push-button start, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, a six-speaker stereo, and trailer sway damping. If you opt for a Crew cab version, you can also expect to find 2nd-row in-floor storage.

HFE: Once you start to jump up in the model lineup, the next place you’ll hit is the HFE trim. This model builds on what the Tradesman trim started by adding in front bucket seats, 20-inch chrome wheels, a carpeted floor, low-rolling-resistance tires, a tonneau cover, and even side steps. Other than that, this model stays pretty true to the base trim!

Big Horn: Sitting towards the middle of the Ram 1500’s trim lineup is the Big Horn Trim. It may otherwise be referred to as Lone Star, especially for all of us here in Abilene! This trim adds Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, fog lights, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, 18-inch aluminum wheels, a 60/4-split rear seat, and other available options for added luxury and capability.

Rebel: Anyone who is looking to spend more time off of the road, rather than on it, will want to learn more about this Rebel trim. This model works hard to give you added off-roading oriented features like four skid plates to help protect vital parts of the truck underneath, aggressive styling, and an electronic locking rear axle. All of these separate pieces combine to create a truck that is ready to take on anything.

Laramie: As soon as you find the Laramie trim, you know you’re headed towards major luxury. This trim throws in an 8.4-inch touchscreen as standard, along with a power rear window, power mirrors, and 20-inch wheels. You’ll also even be able to get leather-trimmed front seats that aren’t just power-adjustable, they are also ventilated and heated. You can add in a safety package to get forward collision warning, and lane-keeping assist.

Longhorn: The second to last trim that we’re looking at is Longhorn. This model includes a spray-in bedliner, premium-leather bucket seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Anyone ready to experience will love what this trim has to offer.

Limited: The highest trim available to choose from is Limited. This model adds in a four-corner air suspension, additional chrome trim, and other features that have been mentioned throughout the rest of the lineup. You can always throw in other features, but once you hit the Limited, you’ll have it all.
