Trim Levels of the 2019 RAM 1500

Both comfortable and capable while also being tech-savvy, the RAM 1500 continues to be one of the bestselling pickups on the market, and in 2019 the RAM has been wholly redesigned without abandoning what makes it popular. In 2019, the RAM 1500 has shed weight making the heavy-duty pickup 225 pounds lighter. The RAM also adds steel construction to its frame to increase its maximum payload and towing capabilities. The engine also combines eTorque technology which stores energy in a lithium battery to help the stop/start technology run more smoothly. There are a ton of features packed into seven different trim levels, and we are here to break down each one!

Tradesman

Standard on the Tradesman, as well as all versions of the RAM 1500, is a 3.6-liter V6 with 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. Optional on all RAMs is a 5.7-liter V8 with 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. Both engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive with four-wheel-drive as an option. As for features, the Tradesman provides you with 18-inch steel wheels, vinyl flooring and upholstery, and a Uconnect system with a 5-inch touchscreen display. Creature comforts for the Tradesman include automatic headlights, a locking tailgate, heated side mirrors, push-button ignition, cruise control, air conditioning, and a rearview camera. Optional for the Tradesman is trailer brake control, electronic locking rear differential, towing mirrors, and a folding rear seat
